The Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL) softball nipped the host Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Maroons now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 7.
