Cushing Academy Penguins (Ashburnham, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights (Cambridge, MA), 6-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Cushing Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Penguins travel to Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA) to battle the Big Green in a Central New England test on Saturday, April 9. The Big Green come into the test with a record of 1-2. Deerfield Academy lost 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Loomis Chaffee School (Windsor, CT)
