April 5, 2022: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 The Jacobs Golden Eagles baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Elk Grove Grenadiers to 2 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL). The Gators go into the Fox Valley - Valley match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Crystal Lake South edged Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL), 5-1, in a non-league match.
The Grenadiers (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league match with a 5-5 record. In their last match, Maine South was overwhelmed by Niles Notre Dame (Niles, IL), 10-0, in a non-league match.
