New York High School Lacrosse - Central Square overwhelms Rome Free Academy
April 5, 2022: Central Square, NY 13036 The Central Square Redhawks (Central Square, NY) lacrosse the visiting Rome Free Academy Black Knights (Rome, NY), 13-9 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Central Square improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Redhawks travel to Jamesville-DeWitt (DeWitt, NY) to meet the Red Rams in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 6. The Red Rams enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
The Black Knights (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Vernon-Verona-Sherrill (Verona, NY). The Red Devils enter the Section 3 TVL- East challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Vernon-Verona-Sherrill was overwhelmed by Oswego (Oswego, NY), 21-7, in a non-league challenge.
