New York High School Lacrosse - Babylon drops to Westhampton Beach
April 5, 2022: Babylon, NY 11702 In Tuesday's league test, the visiting Westhampton Beach Hurricanes lacrosse squad scored a good 16-3 victory over the Babylon Panthers.
The Hurricanes now have a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sayville for a Section 11 II test on Friday, April 8. Westhampton Beach will face a Golden Flashes squad coming off a 16-9 league loss to Mount Sinai (Mount Sinai, NY). The Golden Flashes record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Greenport-Southold-Mattituck Porters (Greenport, NY) in a Section 11 II test, on Friday, April 8. Babylon will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Porters come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 10-8 league loss to Rocky Point (Rocky Point, NY).
