April 5, 2022: Newton, MA 02459 The Newton South Lions lacrosse team scored 8 points and held the visiting Belmont Marauders to 7 in the Lions non-league win on Tuesday.
The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Cambridge Rindge & Latin (Cambridge, MA). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Cambridge Rindge & Latin was tipped by Concord-Carlisle (Concord, MA), 16-6, in a non-league match.
