April 5, 2022: Dyersburg, TN 38024 Dyersburg Trojans (Dyersburg, TN) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lexington Tigers (Lexington, TN), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans confront the South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN) in a 2A District 14 challenge, on Thursday, April 7. Dyersburg will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Trinity Christian Academy (Jackson, TN).
The Tigers now possess a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hardin County for a 2A District 13 challenge on Thursday, April 7. Lexington will confront a Tigers team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Adamsville (Adamsville, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
