Tennessee High School Soccer - Unicoi County knocks off Volunteer
April 5, 2022: Erwin, TN 37650 Unicoi County Blue Devils (Erwin, TN) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN), 7-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Blue Devils confront the Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes (Morristown, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 7. Unicoi County will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN).
The Falcons now possess a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to University for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 8. Volunteer will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Tennessee (Bristol, TN). The Buccaneers record now stands at 2-3.
