The Azle Hornets (Azle, TX) softball routed the visiting Tolar Rattlers (Tolar, TX), 11-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Hornets (8-7) will now prepare for their bout against Rider (Wichita Falls, TX). The Raiders go into the 5A Region I District 5 bout with a 6-11 record. In their last bout, Rider was routed by Granbury (Granbury, TX), 8-1, in a league bout.

The Rattlers now possess a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ranger for a 2A Region II District 11 bout on Friday, April 8. Tolar will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-12 league win over Lipan (Lipan, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
