Texas High School Softball - Joshua holds off Ennis
April 5, 2022: Joshua, TX 76058 Joshua Owls (Joshua, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ennis Lions (Ennis, TX), 2-0 in a league challenge.
The Owls now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Red Oak for a 5A Region II District 14 challenge on Friday, April 8. Joshua will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 12-6 league win over Midlothian (Midlothian, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Ennis falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Italy (Italy, TX) to battle the Gladiators in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 8. The Gladiators enter the challenge with a record of 23-3. Italy won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Hubbard (Hubbard, TX)
