April 5, 2022: Galena, KS 66739 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Pittsburg Dragons (Pittsburg, KS) and the host Galena Bulldogs (Galena, KS), saw Pittsburg's softball squad nip Galena by a count of 4-3.
The Dragons now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chanute for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 6. Pittsburg will face a Blue Comets squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Parsons (Parsons, KS). The Blue Comets record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Galena falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Columbus (Columbus, KS) to face the Titans in a non-league match on Monday, April 11. The Titans enter the match with a record of 3-0.
