Illinois High School Softball - Oak Park-River Forest bounces Riverside-Brookfield
April 5, 2022: Oak Park, IL 60302 Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL), 22-13 in a non-league challenge.
The Huskies now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Taft for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 8. Oak Park-River Forest will face a Eagles squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Jones (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 10-0.
With the loss, Riverside-Brookfield falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Rosary (Aurora, IL) to face the Royals in a Metro Suburban challenge on Thursday, April 7. The Royals enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Rosary lost 12-11 in their recent league challenge against Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL)
