April 5, 2023: Glen Burnie, MD 21060 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Century Knights (Sykesville, MD) and the host Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD), saw Century's softball squad nip Glen Burnie by a count of 7-2.
The Knights now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Westminster for a Monocacy Valley - Chesapeake match on Thursday, April 6. Century will face a Owls squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD). The Owls record now stands at 1-1.
