April 5, 2023: Colonia, NJ 07067 The Colonia Patriots routed the visiting St. Rose Purple Roses softball squad by a final score of 14-4 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ). The Canucks go into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, North Plainfield was routed by Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ), 18-6, in a non-league battle.
The Purple Roses now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hightstown for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 6. St. Rose will meet a Rams squad coming off a 8-3 league win over Ewing (Trenton, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 2-0.
