Kentucky High School Softball - Forbush holds off Marshall County
April 5, 2023: Benton, KY 42025 Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Falcons now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host West Forsyth for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 12. Forbush will battle a Titans squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over West Stokes (King, NC). The Titans record now stands at 13-1.
With the loss, Marshall County falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Marshals host Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY) to battle the Blue Tornado in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. The Blue Tornado enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Paducah Tilghman won 18-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington County (Springfield, KY)
