California High School Baseball - Crespi nips La Costa Canyon
April 5, 2024: Carlsbad, CA 92009 Crespi Celts (Encino, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA), 5-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Crespi upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Celts travel to Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA) to battle the Trailblazers in a Mission test on Tuesday, April 9. The Trailblazers come into the test with a record of 12-6. Sierra Canyon won 13-0 in their recent non-league test against Burbank (Burbank, CA)
With the defeat, La Costa Canyon falls to 5-6 on the season. The Mavericks host Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA) to battle the Broncos in a Coastal (NCC) test on Tuesday, April 9. The Broncos come into the test with a record of 9-4. Rancho Bernardo lost 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA)
