April 5, 2024: Waycross, GA 31503 Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Yellow Jackets confront the Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 8. Thomas County Central will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 2-1 league win over Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA).
The Gators now have a 2-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bacon County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Ware County will confront a Raiders team coming off a 4-1 league win over Brooks County (Quitman, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-5.
