Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN), 15-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carmel for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. Castle will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN). The Greyhounds record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Pike Central falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Brownsburg won 9-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Carmel (Carmel, IN)
