Alabama High School Softball - Lauderdale County nudges Madison County
April 5, 2024: Rogersville, AL 35652 Lauderdale County Tigers (Rogersville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Madison County Tigers (Gurley, AL), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Silverdale Academy for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. Lauderdale County will battle a Seahawks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Hartselle (Hartselle, AL). The Seahawks record now stands at 20-3.
With the loss, Madison County falls to 21-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Giles County (Pulaski, TN) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league contest on Friday, April 5. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 5-3. Giles County won 5-1 in their recent league contest against Tullahoma (Tullahoma, TN)
