The Hueneme Vikings baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Thacher Toads to 0 in the Vikings non-league win on Saturday.

The Vikings now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Channel Islands for a Citrus Coast test on Wednesday, April 9. Hueneme will play a Raiders team coming off a 13-2 league win over Malibu (Malibu, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 8-7.

With the defeat, Thacher drops to 3-4 on the year. The Toads travel to Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA) to play the Dragons in a Tri-Valley test on Tuesday, April 8. The Dragons go into the test with a record of 6-9. Foothill Tech lost 4-3 in their recent league test against St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA)
