The Oasis Christian Lions baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Merritt Island Christian Cougars to 2 in the Lions non-league win on Saturday.

The Lions now hold a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Legacy Charter for a non-league test on Monday, April 7. Oasis Christian will play a Eagles team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Freedom (Orlando, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-8.

With the defeat, Merritt Island Christian drops to 4-8 on the year. The Cougars travel to Calvary Chapel Academy (West Melbourne, FL) to play the Eagles in a 1A District 13 test on Tuesday, April 8. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 3-15. Calvary Chapel Academy won 11-3 in their recent non-league test against Real Life Christian Academy (Clermont, FL)
