The Monta Vista Matadors volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Leigh Longhorns to 0 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Matadors now possess a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Homestead for a SCVAL - De Anza outing on Wednesday, April 9. Monta Vista will play a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Leigh drops to 15-6 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Cupertino (Cupertino, CA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league outing on Saturday, April 5.
