Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL) backers exited the stadium satisfied Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the host Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL), 14-8 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Oak Park-River Forest improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Huskies travel to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL) to play the Redwings in a non-league game on Thursday, April 10. The Redwings come into the game with a record of 2-1.

The Huskies now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schaumburg for a Mid Suburban game on Monday, April 7. Hersey will play a Saxons team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Saxons record now stands at 2-1.
