California High School Softball - Monterey bounces Greenfield
April 5, 2025: Greenfield, CA 93927 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Monterey Dores (Monterey, CA) and the host Greenfield Bruins (Greenfield, CA), observed Monterey's softball team get by Greenfield by a tally of 8-2.
The Dores (8-2) will now prepare for their bout against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Monarchs go into the non-league bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Archbishop Mitty tipped Valley Christian (San Jose, CA), 7-6, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Bruins battle the Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 5. Greenfield will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 7-2 league loss to Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA).
