April 5, 2025: Alcoa, TN 37701 The Knoxville Central Bobcats (Knoxville, TN) soccer nipped the host Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Bobcats now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Campbell County for a AAA District 3 challenge on Thursday, April 10. Knoxville Central will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Union County (Maynardville, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Alcoa moves to 4-5 on the year. The Tornadoes host Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN) to encounter the Panthers in a AA District 5 challenge on Friday, April 11. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Lenoir City lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Loudon (Loudon, TN)
