April 5, 2025: Grundy Center, IA 50638 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Des Moines Christian Lions (Des Moines, IA) and the host Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA), saw Des Moines Christian's soccer squad triumph over Grundy Center by a count of 6-0.
The Lions (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA). The Rebels enter the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Gladbrook-Reinbeck was overwhelmed by Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA), 6-2, in a non-league battle.
