Alabama High School Softball - Buckhorn bounces North Sand Mountain
April 5, 2025: Higdon, AL 35979 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Buckhorn Bucks (New Market, AL) and the host North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL), observed Buckhorn's softball team get by North Sand Mountain by a tally of 6-2.
The Bucks (17-11) will now prepare for their bout against Sparkman (Harvest, AL). The Senators go into the non-league bout with a 23-9 record. In their last bout, Sparkman tipped Meade County (Brandenburg, KY), 9-2, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bison clash with the North Jackson Chiefs (Stevenson, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 8. North Sand Mountain will attempt to advance on its 11-11 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 8-14 record after their 3-2 league loss to New Hope (New Hope, AL).
