Alabama High School Softball - Chilton County drops to Hewitt-Trussville
April 5, 2025: Trussville, AL 35173 Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL), 13-4 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Hewitt-Trussville improves its record to 18-11 on the year. The Huskies travel to Spain Park (Hoover, AL) to face the Jaguars in a 6A Area 7 game on Tuesday, April 8. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 10-14. Spain Park lost 7-0 in their recent non-league game against Madison County (Gurley, AL)
The Tigers now hold a 24-6 record. They play next when they travel to Tuscaloosa County for a non-league game on Saturday, April 5. Chilton County will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Thompson (Alabaster, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 24-6.
