In Saturday's non-league match, the host Watchung Hills Regional Warriors softball team scored a tight 7-1 win over the Cranford Cougars.

The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Immaculata (Somerville, NJ). The Spartans come into the Skyland - Delaware match with a 1-2 record.
