The crowd at Sunday's non-league battle between the Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY) and the host Chittenango Bears (Chittenango, NY), saw Russell County's baseball team beat Chittenango by a margin of 17-4.

The Lakers (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Comets enter the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Halifax County was overwhelmed by Hatboro-Horsham (Horsham, PA), 11-6, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bears face the Solvay Bearcats (Solvay, NY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 11. Chittenango will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
