Crawford Colts (San Diego, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting El Cajon Valley Braves (El Cajon, CA), 13-7 in a league challenge.

The Colts now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southwest SD for a Metro South Bay challenge on Wednesday, April 14.

With the loss, El Cajon Valley falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Hoover (San Diego, CA) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 16. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 3-3.
