North Carolina High School Baseball - Ayden - Grifton defeats Princeton
April 6, 2022: Princeton, NC 27569 Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Princeton Bulldogs (Princeton, NC), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Ayden - Grifton upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Chargers travel to SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC) to battle the Cougars in a test on Tuesday, April 12. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 5-5. SouthWest Edgecombe won 15-8 in their recent non-league test against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC)
With the defeat, Princeton falls to 3-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC) to battle the Saints in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 19. The Saints come into the test with a record of 7-4.
