Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Poca The Dots (Poca, WV), 5-2 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 13.

With the loss, Poca falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The The dots travel to Sissonville (Charleston, WV) to battle the Indians in a Cardinal challenge on Friday, April 8. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 9-2. Sissonville won 8-0 in their recent league challenge against Winfield (Winfield, WV)
