West Virginia High School Baseball - East Fairmont gets by Bridgeport
April 6, 2023: Bridgeport, WV 26330 East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV), 5-2 in a league test.
With the win, East Fairmont upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Bees travel to Lewis County (Weston, WV) to battle the Minutemen in a Big Ten test on Monday, April 10. The Minutemen come into the test with a record of 3-6. Lewis County lost 8-5 in their recent non-league test against Cazenovia (Cazenovia, NY)
With the defeat, Bridgeport falls to 4-1 on the season. The Indians host Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Friday, April 7. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 1-8. Parkersburg South lost 8-1 in their recent non-league test against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV)
