Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Eastern Musketeers (Pekin, IN) and the host Springs Valley Blackhawks (French Lick, IN), saw Eastern's baseball squad edge Springs Valley by a margin of 8-7.

Coming up next, the Musketeers play the Lanesville Eagles (Lanesville, IN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 7. Eastern will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Crawford County (Marengo, IN).
