Ohio High School Baseball - Norton nips Waynedale
April 6, 2023: Apple Creek, OH 44606 Norton Panthers (Norton, OH) fans were pleased Thursday as they saw their baseball team nip the host Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH), 2-1 in a non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Toronto for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 8. Norton will face a Red Knights team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Clay (Oregon, OH). The Red Knights record now stands at 2-1.
Next, the Golden Bears face the Perry Panthers (Massillon, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 7. Waynedale will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record.
