Rocky River Pirates (Rocky River, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Valley Forge Patriots (Parma Heights, OH), 5-4 in a league test.

With the win, Rocky River upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC) to battle the Bengals in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 11. The Bengals come into the test with a record of 8-4. Greensboro Day School lost 12-2 in their recent league test against High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC)

With the defeat, Valley Forge falls to 1-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to Lakewood (Lakewood, OH) to battle the Rangers in a Great Lakes Conference test on Monday, April 10. The Rangers come into the test with a record of 0-2.
