Pennsylvania High School Lacrosse - Mars overwhelms Mt. Lebanon
April 6, 2023: Mars, PA 16046 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) and the visiting Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA), saw Mars's lacrosse team achieve victory over Mt. Lebanon by a margin of 11-5.
The Fightin' Planets (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Freeport (Freeport, PA). The Yellowjackets enter the WPIAL 2A 2 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Freeport was overwhelmed by Hampton (Allison Park, PA), 15-2, in a league challenge.
The Blue Devils (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA). The Vikings enter the WPIAL 3A 2 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Central Catholic was overwhelmed by Peters Township (McMurray, PA), 13-11, in a league challenge.
