Kansas High School Softball - Silver Lake nudges Basehor-Linwood
April 6, 2023: Basehor, KS 66007 Silver Lake Eagles (Silver Lake, KS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Basehor-Linwood Bobcats (Basehor, KS), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Rossville for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. Silver Lake will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-6 non-league win over Wabaunsee (Alma, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Basehor-Linwood falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Shawnee Heights (Tecumseh, KS) to face the Thunderbirds in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Shawnee Heights won 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against De Soto (De Soto, KS)
