Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS), 10-8 in a non-league test.

With the win, Alcorn Central upgrades its record to 11-11 on the season. The Bears travel to Kossuth (Kossuth, MS) to battle the Aggies in a 3A Region 1 test on Tuesday, April 9. The Aggies come into the test with a record of 16-1. Kossuth lost 10-5 in their recent non-league test against Tupelo (Tupelo, MS)

With the defeat, Myrtle falls to 6-15 on the season. The Hawks travel to Ingomar (New Albany, MS) to battle the Falcons in a non-league test on Monday, April 8. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 7-10. Ingomar lost 13-12 in their recent non-league test against Falkner (Falkner, MS)
