Oklahoma High School Baseball - Guthrie loses to Weatherford
April 6, 2024: Guthrie, OK 73044 The Weatherford Eagles crushed the host Guthrie Bluejays baseball team by a count of 15-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kingfisher for a 4A District 5 bout on Monday, April 8. Weatherford will face a Yellowjackets team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Putnam City West (Oklahoma City, OK). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-15.
Next, the Bluejays face the Noble Bears (Noble, OK) in a 5A District 1 bout, on Monday, April 8. Guthrie will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 9-13 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Norman North (Norman, OK).
