April 6, 2024: Sidell, IL 61876 The Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers crushed the host Salt Fork Storm baseball team by a tally of 15-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now hold a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Tolono Unity for a Illini Prairie bout on Monday, April 8. Paxton-Buckley-Loda will face a Rockets team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Carterville (Carterville, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 9-1.
Next, the Storm face the Hoopeston Cornjerkers (Hoopeston, IL) in a Vermilion Valley bout, on Monday, April 8. Salt Fork will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Cornjerkers enter the bout with a 7-5 record after their 12-1 league win over Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman (Georgetown, IL).
