April 6, 2024: San Mateo, CA 94403 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA) and the host Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS (San Mateo, CA), saw Monta Vista's volleyball squad beat Hillsdale by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Monta Vista upgrades its record to 12-11 on the year. The Matadors travel to Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA) to play the Firebirds in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 6. The Firebirds go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Fremont won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Los Altos (Los Altos, CA)
The FIGHTING KNIGHTS now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Aragon for a bout on Wednesday, April 10. Hillsdale will play a Dons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Summit Shasta (Daly City, CA). The Dons record now stands at 14-8.
