California High School Volleyball - Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences edged by Bishop Diego
April 6, 2024: Santa Barbara, CA 93110 The Bishop Diego Cardinals held off the visiting Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cardinals now have a 15-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cate for a Tri-Valley test on Tuesday, April 9. Bishop Diego will confront a Rams team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA). The Rams record now stands at 3-5.
The Vipers (16-5) will now prepare for their test against Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA). The Patriots enter the non-league test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Birmingham was nudged by Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
