Next up, the Mustangs battle the Gilbert Christian Knights (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 6. Dobson will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 6-8 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ).
With the loss, Mesquite drops to 3-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ) to battle the Sentinels in a 4A East Sky contest on Tuesday, April 9.
