The Harbor Pirates volleyball team (Santa Cruz, CA), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA)

The Mustangs (14-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA). The Matadors enter the SCVAL - De Anza challenge with a 12-11 record. In their last challenge, Monta Vista nipped South Pasadena (South Pasadena, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
