April 6, 2024: Morro Bay, CA 93442 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Morro Bay Pirates (Morro Bay, CA) and the visiting Le Lycee Lions (Los Angeles, CA), saw Morro Bay's volleyball squad beat Le Lycee by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Morro Bay upgrades its record to 8-19 on the year. The Pirates host Paso Robles (Paso Robles, CA) to play the Bearcats in a CCAA - Sunset bout on Tuesday, April 9. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Paso Robles lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Leigh (San Jose, CA)
The Lions now own a 10-19 record. They play next when they travel to St. Monica for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 6. Le Lycee will play a Mariners squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 9-16.
