California High School Volleyball - Mary Star of the Sea tips Salesian
April 6, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90023 Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Salesian Mustangs (Los Angeles, CA), 1-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Stars clash with the St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) in a Santa Fe match, on Tuesday, April 9. Mary Star of the Sea will attempt to advance on its 6-15 season record. The Swordsmen come into the match with a 9-11 record after their 3-1 league win over Serra (Gardena, CA).
With the loss, Salesian drops to 1-17 on the campaign. The Mustangs host St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA) to clash with the Valiants in a Camino Real match on Tuesday, April 9. The Valiants come into the match with a record of 5-8. St. Genevieve lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA)
