Missouri High School Soccer - Laquey knocks off Smithton
April 6, 2024: Laquey, MO 65534 Laquey Hornets (Laquey, MO) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Smithton Tigers (Smithton, MO), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hornets confront the Waynesville Tigers (Waynesville, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 9. Laquey will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Hillcrest (Springfield, MO).
The Tigers now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Sacred Heart for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Smithton will confront a Gremlins team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Moberly (Moberly, MO). The Gremlins record now stands at 3-4.
