New York High School Lacrosse - Herricks drops to Oceanside
April 6, 2024: New Hyde Park, NY 11040 Oceanside Sailors (Oceanside, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Herricks Highlanders (New Hyde Park, NY), 8-4 in a league test.
The Sailors now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley Stream Central for a Section 8 A test on Monday, April 8. Oceanside will face a Eagles squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to Baldwin (Baldwin, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
In their next game, the Highlanders face the Uniondale Knights (Uniondale, NY) in a Section 8 A test, on Tuesday, April 9. Herricks will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 1-3 record after their 2-1 league win over Freeport (Freeport, NY).
